You might not mind, but many people who live near airports do mind (case in point-the people who lived near Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong couldn't stand the noise [the famous 'Kai Tak heart attack'] so the government of Hong Kong built a new airport on an island called Chek Lap Kok). The big problem is that municipal,

Three hours vs. eight? I'll take the three hours, thanks. And that goes double for high-speed rail.

Lean to eat before or after the show, as many people used to do.

Me too. Both that theater and the Scotiabank Theater are my go-to places to see movies now (with an occasional visit to the TIFF Bell Lightbox, the Bloor Cinema, the Fox Beaches, and Coliseum 10 in Mississauga.)

THIS, and also mentioned years ago in a blogpost: CYA Security (try and guess what the acronym 'CYA' means.)

At least we don't have to have that happen in Canada.

I know Tumblr likes to whine like a bunch of babies, but we're talking about a website whose majority is both obsessed with the show and will get outraged about literally anything so that's kind of a given.

'Pretentious' is exactly the word I'd use to describe most of the movie goers who love 'independent' film but think themselves above sci-fi/fantasy and other genres that are commercial, and who also can't see that a director can move between genres to direct different films, like you are being now.

If people read on their own more, they'd learn about things and not let the school system victimize them with regards to certain histories.

Give me a fucking break-pretentious twaddle is still pretentious twaddle. At least he didn't do that, and at least he has the power to make this movie, which most of the activist set and the arty filmmaker set hasn't been able to do for years.

But what if it was poor ordinary white boys just arrived in the city who were the ones that started Stonewall?
