This is why I never sit in used cars or public transit, in the event that a person who may have died could have sat there before me. Same reason I won’t wear secondhand shoes or underwear, I don’t want haunted clothing.

How could anybody drive this knowing that a dead person sat in that seat before you?

It’s a shame they don’t offer this in a PHEV version; it would be a solid competitor to the Alfa Romeo Tonale.

Who pays for things in the app store? I’ve been an Android user since the very first Motorola Droid, and I think I’ve paid for two apps in that time (both of them $2.99 one-time payments).

I wanted one of these SO BADLY when they were new. Thought these were the coolest things ever (especially the Baja Turbo that came with a de-tuned version of the WRX STi engine that could make 300 hp with just a reflash).

Wait I’m sorry; did I read right this right that the reason they were in the one dude’s car is that the person who was supposed to give them a ride home also crashed?

I got this trilogy on Switch for my Switch Lite, and discovered that GTAIII is literally unplayable on the Switch Lite. Early on, there’s a mission where you have to kill a certain number of gang members within a limited amount of time, but the Switch Lite is incapable of rendering enough gang members to pass the

Automatic transmissions are generally faster and give better lap times than manual transmissions, but drivers often prefer manual transmissions for the superior driving experience. The same is true of naturally aspirated engines versus turbocharged engines.

Funny you mention that; I remember driving through the Eisenhower Tunnel in my Mustang with a Coyote V8 and while it certainly wasn’t lacking for power, it was very noticably down on power versus what I’m used to here at sea level. Never really thought that that altitude difference would create enough difference in

I have carried four adults in my Mustang (admittedly not in lots of comfort) before. It’s possible.

In certain markets cars are taxed by engine displacement, which is why you’ll see a whole lot of “2.0 liter” 4 cylinders that are actually 1,998 cc because hitting 2,000 would put them in a higher tax category.

I wish I could find the quote, but I remember reading a BMW exec in about 1999 saying that the brand would never turn to turbocharging. Naturally aspirated BMW engines are absolutely delightful... but they haven’t made one in the last decade.

Can these things even be used with Android phones? What’s the point of them for non-Apple users?

I’m sorry but 20" chrome spinners are objectively the best wheels and I won’t have anybody argue nonsense to the contrary.

The repair bills on this will be a nightmare, but that third row in the station wagon is too tempting at $7,500. NP.

I have put two car seats in the back precisely one time (including one rear-facing seat) during a very brief window when my wife’s previous car’s lease was up and I hadn’t picked up her new car yet. That was... not the best. But they’re older now and can sit in the back seats just fine.

I have put 97,000 miles on my 2015 GT in the 9 years since I picked it up, and I am going to keep driving it forever. There's just nothing like a V8 coupe (even though I now have two kids, so at some point I'll need to get something more practical as a daily driver).

In 2027, we can get the Smart Roadster. Mid- engine, rear wheel drive, under 1,800 pound curb weight, removable hard top. They were notoriously unreliable, which just means that any survivors have been treated very well and had their problems sorted out. And I'm pretty sure a GR Corolla engine would fit back there...

Thecurved screen has been Samsung's best feature for years. Disappointing.

I’m confused as to why you wouldn’t normally sleep with a watch on? Even in pre- smart watch days, I always slept with a mechanical watch on my wrist so I could immediately know the time when I woke up. I sleep with a Galaxy Watch 4 (larger diameter) on my wrist every night for sleep tracking, and it feels like
