Up here in Canadurr.....The Navigator has been $100K vehicle for years. I have 6-7 on the lot and they avg $112-134K

You’re right, the Korean cars are much faster than the bubble-era stuff, and for a fraction of the price.

Currently on sale? I’d have it be the CT5-V Blackwing. It’s the last V8 manual caddy is going to produce, so I’m sure it’ll charge a premium.

GM seems to have discovered the only source of interior plastic worse than what Chrysler uses.

Tesla, especially CyberTruck

That’s the first thing I thought.

What the saying? Full me once, shame on you, full me twice shame on me. you went back 4 times?

You picked the Gladiator for legitimate reasons, but I’ll pick ANY Stellantis vehicle. In the last decade, I’ve had four that everyone of their transmission went out in. You’d think at least ONE might break 100K miles without a new trans.

Maybe some supermarket sushi?

congrats, you baited the forum, and it seems everyone grabbed it hook line and sinker.

Holy shit, first time I have seen that ha ha

C&D tested this in original Taycan Turbo S vs Model S (plaid?) review like 3 years a go. Taycan was within 0.1 secs in 10 runs they did back to back. Tesla dropped to like 5 secs 0-60 after one launch.

I LOVE them. To me, the very epitome of luxury. Anonymous on the outside, sybaritic on the inside, with plenty of performance to back it up. If I had any use for a big “going out to dinner” car, it would be one of these.

Porsche specifically “tuned” the Taycan to avoid this very thing. It can do it all day long. Also, heat soak is a thing for ICE vehicles too. Look at multiple dyno runs to see the steady decrease of wheel HP.

That’s actually considered to be a storage area rather than just an incidental open space?

If it’s a short one, sure! You could also maybe fit a T-shirt and pair of pants if you folded them neatly. And wear the same shoes again the next day.  Practical!

You had interesting tastes...  That seems like picking between a nice steak and a bucket of vomit to me, but that’s just me.

102k for that delivery experience is absolutely hilarious. Do they have anybody that works there that has not had a recent lobotomy?

There’s enough charge coming from the running ICE up front to power that little rear axle motor even if you’ve exhausted the hybrid battery. That system is used to give a little traction boost at low speeds if needed, essentially the equivalent of the three friendly guys pushing when you’re stuck on a slippery incline

Depends on how you define the segment. If you say “removable roof off-roader” there are only two of them, not very competitive. If you put it in the “I need people to believe I’m out-doorsy and strong and capable” it’s a slightly bigger segment. If you lump it in with the “I need people to know I can waste $60,000 on
