There’s an entire DLC about if he knocked up Black Cat and that feels icky coming from someone made to look like teenage Spider-Man. The have to age him up.

There’s also the issue where the new model looks a good 10 years younger than the character. He’s supposed to be a spider-man 8 years into his career. Now he looks younger than miles. The reaosn tom holland worked as well as he did for a young peter parker was because he is a babyface.
So now you have a spider-man who…
There are clearly day night cycles in the game. Plus if started a mission that had to take place at night but you were in the morning there was a loading screen specially for time changes.
Why would you throw that out if it has no bearing on the conversation you joined?
The PS4 version actually looks like a 23 year old who’s been juggling school, work, and heroics for, like, 8 years. The new Spider-Man looks like Tom Holland, who may be 24 in real life, but looks like a 16 year old (which, I mean, is part of why the cast him in the first place).
Maybe I’m bad at identifying subtle visual improvements, but every image/video I’ve seen of the next gen makes me more confident in waiting until the hype dies down before getting a next gen system. Obviously they changed the look a lot, but I honestly had to check the copy under the picture to figure out which one…
But...the game won’t let me date Black Cat and MJ at the same time?!
It’s all about the gameplay, man. Just enjoy the swinging.
He is written in the story as older than Miles.
To me this screams mandate from above. I really liked the look of Peter in the game. It matched an adult Peter Parker from the comics and now he looks looks younger than Tom Holland in the first Spiderman movie (while clearly trying to look more like (Tom Holland). I def hate this.
Man, I hope they similarly de-aged Mary Jane, or their romance is going to look *very* awkward.
Much like MvC Infinite, Marvel games tend to suffer presentation-wise when they try to make things more like the movie (assuming they’re not speficially movie tie-ins). The original Peter felt like it belonged in the game specific universe where as this one kinda has that “we couldn’t get the movie actor’s likeness”…
The same police force that hunts him down with missiles?
For f... Peter was the only character who looked like SOMETHING, instead of a random NPC with a different wig. And of course they replace him with a random NPC with a basic wig.
The old face model already bugged me a bit, he was too young looking to me for the supposed history and time being spiderman for the version of the character. Now it looks like a highschoold kid. Gimme someone in their 30s.
I really liked this version of Peter as an experienced, late career Spider-Man. This makes him look too young.
Thanks, I hate it.
It’s been forever since I played it, but Super Paper Mario was wonderful. I loved that game back to front.
