Never played the original (only Square game I’ve ever enjoyed was Heroes of Ruin, which I came upon quite randomly). But I did get an SNES Classic recently so, perhaps someday I’ll have time to try that.

Gold Nunchuck FTW!
I was always the only one I knew who LOVED this and Dick Tracy growing up. Haven’t seen either in years, though. As I did with Darkman last week (which was so much better than I remembered), I should try to remedy that this weekend.
I know, because who actually wants to have Batman in their Batman movie, right?
You’re welcome. http://www.avclub.com/1822922598
Hands down, the Gamecube controller is by far the most comfortable controller ever made, as far as I’m concerned. Nothing else has ever come close to the ergonomics of that thing.
WHAT?
“It’s a plumber’s NIGHTMARE!”
“Grab your tool belt, kid. We’re goin’ in.”
No fucking way, really? Awesome.
I haven’t seen this in years, I should see if it’s on Netflix this weekend. But oh god dammit, now I’m dying to see a Sam Raimi Batman movie.
Ohhhh.
No, no it isn’t. That game fucking sucked.
“If you’re invisible...”
“Is Character customization menu easy to get too on the versus screen? I’d hate to play with a friend and spend two minutes trying on Superman trunks or getting the Turtles right”
That movie is a guilty pleasure in the best way, and I will never not enjoy the hell out of it.
“Colonel, why is there a gorilla wearing a necktie?”
“In 1993, Secret of Mana’s armor shops would show you how equipment would affect your party members’ stats before you bought it. In 2018, inexplicably, this is gone. The game no longer tells you whether the armor you’re about to buy will actually improve your characters’ defense values.”
I dunno, man, I certainly remember the Cindy Crawford scene being a particular highlight of my early years...
“I have android tablets that have better specs, which I can then use to remote play PS4 or PC games.”
