When work, kids, life, etc slashes your available time for non-portable gaming down to maybe 2 or 3 hours at night on the weekends, if you’re not falling asleep, and if you don’t want to watch a movie or tv instead as that’s the only time you have for doing that as well, it gets *slightly difficult* to be able to sink

I know they’ve added a lot, but it’s still too little too late IMO. I’m just glad I didn’t give in to the urge to buy it blind and waited to Gamefly it first.

You’re not missing much.

Completely agree. The original was such a blast, 2 sucked real hard.

So still no word on when Hollow Knight is coming, then? Damn.

THAT’S AWESOME!

I was super interested when they first announced the newer XCOM when it looked to be “Bioshock, But With Aliens,” but then of course it changed back to being turn based strategy and I stopped caring. The only turn-based-esque game I’ve ever enjoyed enough to play to completion was the first KOTOR, and I know that

She can play whatever she wants *when she is old enough.* But since she’s only 4 and would never be able to play something like this on her own right now, I would have to play it for her. And as I hate turn based bullshit, I draw the line on this one.

Yeah, the steering assist and auto accelerate let her be able to actually play the game herself (hell, even I use the auto accelerate when I play multiplayer with her to avoid hand cramps from the tiny joycon). It’s a blast. Do it!

Really? I NEVER would have guessed! Thank you for your ASTOUNDING insight!

I’m guessing you never really played much of that “game,” because once you get past the first day’s worth of events it becomes broken as shit apart from the light gun levels. Especially when stuff like Wii Sports, Warioware, etc were out around the same time for comparison. Those were fun as hell.

I HATE turn based, strategy, and tactics games and any and all combinations therof.

“I would like to get laid more often...”

Yeah, the Battle Simulator is closest thing the game has to a basic single player mode - which I had to discover through Google because WHY WOULD THE GAME COMMUNICATE ANYTHING TO YOU CLEARLY? - and is about the only thing in there for me to do since I already finished the story mode. I have yet to encounter any

That’s the thing, though. I don’t want to have to spend half hours at a time digging through menus and sorting out gear when I’m trying to play a goddamn fighting game. I mean Diablo’s my jam, but that’s not at all the experience I’m looking for when I play a fighting game by the MK guys.

I’ve been pretty lukewarm on this game. I mean the actual gameplay is solid as ever....once you can finally find your way to it. I don’t know who thought that anyone in their right mind would want to spend way-too-much-goddamn-time sifting through needlessly convoluted RPG menu systems when trying to play a friggin’

Back in the day, the end sections of Metroid and Metroid II where the actual (or in the second game’s case the original, non mutated) metroids show up were pure white-knuckled intensity.

Honestly, the answer to both of these is just “dude, calm the hell down.”

Wow, people actually still care about this “game” (and I use that term ridiculously loosely)?

Goldeneye. Silenced PP7. ‘nuff said.
