While you’re right we can only be cautiously optimistic, there is still good reason to be happy. Your #2 is true, but the reason it wasn’t evil/conservative enough is because there are enough Republicans in moderate/swing districts or even just who are the kind of politicians who vote to fuck everyone but their own…

Yeah, I think they’ve lost the ability to claim that the DEMOCRATS are the only frazzled, fractured ones... we’ve got some hard work to do, but at least we’re mostly on the same frigging page when it comes to healthcare.

I knew the taxpayer thing was a no go (because then who wouldn’t sue), but I just have been wondering if there was some way to retaliate from the lying and general ill-will the government has toward its people’s well-being.
