This just further cements that “ghibli-like” is meaningless. This is a generic anime cel-shaded 3D style, it has as much in common with what Ghibli is known for as “The Dragon Prince”.

I feel like Spirittea gets by on concept far more than aesthetic. When I first heard about it I was pretty interested. But when you lean so heavily on Spirited Away comparisons to push your game, you kinda need to back it up with a decent look, and Spirittea frankly is not there.

This just sounds like people are claiming that the Monster Hunter “desire sensor” is an in-built mechanic. People come up with all sorts of bizarre rituals for RNG, when almost always it’s just RNG working as intended.

The length isn’t my issue, if it were short but spectacular I’d recommend it at full price, but I think its just a shitty game overall.

Even as a fan of Grasshopper Manufacture I cannot recommend No More Heroes 3 at anything more than $15.

Rift Apart is unbelievably dull despite it's visual fidelity. The move away from angry Ratchet would be fine if they could give the character any personality at all, and the mirror universe characters can all be described as "normal universe me, but boring".
