So uh, who’s this presumably purple-powered villain Magento?

I’m pretty sure it’s been confirmed they are selling an equivalent to the stupid Rift Crystal packs in the first game. Which were hilariously bad value for money even if you wanted to waste your cash, because IIRC while the most expensive packs might net you 10k Rift Crystals a single high-level player using your pawn

If this were any other company, yeah, the price would be impossible to justify. It still is impossible to justify as a pre-order (as all things are) but assuming it reviews as well as basically any other FromSoft DLC, it’s the rare case where an asking price this high might be vindicated.

CL4P-TP is probably not gonna be CL4P-TP. He’s gonna be little robot Jack Black.

The very premise of a From Soft title being perverted into mobile-gacha-cancer is morbidly fascinating to me. I don’t want it to exist, but I kind of want to see what a god-forsaken train wreck it would even look like.

If you spent even 20 minutes in a 3D editing tool, hell even a vector based 2D editing tool, you wouldn’t be half this misinformed and stupid.

Oh I agree completely, GR is charming because it’s not made for mass appeal, it’s rough around the edges and those are the things that make it shine.

Gravity Rush is such a strange game to me. I played through all the first and loved it, I have the sequel but just never got around to it.

I haven’t seen a ratio that good since the Lego Star Wars collection. 150+ hours across all 3 games for a single playthrough, and of course all the incentive to go through again with different choices.

Godspeed.

It is to Zelda what Nioh is to Dark Souls, a game taking inspiration from while confidently doing it’s own thing, in some ways better, in others worse.

Guess you could say the folks dense enough to buy this thing were only born... The day before.

This is a secondary issue for me. Sure, it’s memberberries, but the bigger problem is that like many of the trailers from the show tonight, it is all filler and no killer. 2 minutes of story trailer followed by ~7 seconds of gameplay. This doesn’t sell me on shit.

So... another mile-wide, puddle-deep screenshot generator?

I don’t doubt there are technical difficulties maintaining a live service game, but the amount of effectively lost content in D2 is unprecedented.

A fool would ask “are there degenerates in the replies begging to sniff his feet?”, a smart man would ask “how many degenerates in the replies are begging to sniff his feet?”

Yeah the pawn voice acting is... distractingly bad. I usually don’t notice that kind of thing so it’s pretty rough to get under my skin. But given that pawn chatter seems even more specific and has to cover a lot of different voice types, it’s not super surprising that not all of it is grade-A.

It’s definitely pretty nuts how much mileage Capcom gets out of it while making some stellar looking and finely optimized games. RE8 runs like a dream and looks beautiful on my Steam Deck, and I’m really hoping that Capcom puts out a demo for this before the release so I can test DD2 on Deck as well.

No.

There is a metric shit-ton of internet users that take anyone speaking matter-of-factly in a critical way as an attempt at objectivity, when that was never the intention of the speaker.
