I mean...there’s only so much money you can justify losing on the premise of “but our competitors are making money.” Non-’stangs have never been Ford’s bread and butter anyway; frankly they could sell nothing but Mustang and F-150 derivatives and stay in business indefinitely.

Eh...it’s a matter of investment vs. time. Developing new car platforms is a years long, multi-billion dollar endeavor, and if you’re not going to turn a profit on them within a certain timeframe (I’m guessing ~5 years), it doesn’t make sense to invest in them [at this time].

All true, but...I’d rather have cars than planes. Forest, trees.

I work with old people who learned CAD software that way.

Self Check-Out lanes: you should have to pass a speed test.

Or using the drop-down menus for every single action in a program.

That’s only for moderately authentic men.

    This was weirdly fascinating.

    “No.”

Yeah, sure, that or credit scores are a bass-ackwards system prone to all sorts of blips for shit you can’t control. I’ve had 740+ for my entire adult life, except for one time where Equifax (but not TransU or Experian) decided I was a risk and smacked me with a 680 for a couple months. No fucking clue why, and it was

I lost all sympathy for the union side of these arguments the second it was pointed out that 18-to-20-year-old soldiers in f*cking warzones operate under more stringent RoE than your average cop.

No no nonononono, Trump’s orders are only going to affect “the bad ones,” right? #MAGA!

Considering everything under the sun is trying to bill itself as “Like Uber but for X” they probably figure it can’t be that hard

Yeeeeeah but it kinda sounds like the court said “open the barn door” and then Goodyear came back and said “we don’t think you should have done that” and then the cows left and now goodyear is trying to tell them that the court opened the barn door on accident even though the court is saying they’re pretty sure they
