I think it’s pretty obvious what happened:

No-one in the White House makes the selection. The state Teacher of the Year’s are selected in the state. Then they are sent to a committee made of judges from 14 major education organizations. The committee selects four finalists and then picks a winner. I honestly love this woman, she deserves the accolades.

I also want to note that the late, great Gawker is the one that outed Trump as a meth-head, just like they outed Harvey Weinstein, Cosby and others as rapists, while being called irresponsible by almost everyone, including their own readers. Gawker’s anarchist fighting spirit is badly missed in this horrifying new era.

As bad as it is that Harris was charged, I find almost as disturbing that there seems to be almost no news coverage of him getting charged.

This. So many of them are whining about how her voice sounds. That’s such a red flag when men do that. It’s like they’re grasping for legitimate reasons to hate her, and all they can think of is her voice. Her womanly voice.

Obviously, they hated Stephen Colbert back in the day too. That said, do you think the set would have been perceived differently if it was a man telling the jokes? Is she being dinged for not playing nice, like a good girl should?

Why are we talking about him “retaliating against a break up” in a same article that discusses an obviously problematic relationship with his mother, which clearly played a role in him raping women? I have no doubt Bonnie left him for good reason.
