Calling it now: Gen 2 of the Prelude reboot’s gonna be a fatback CUV.

the same mistake they made with the CR-Z”

They really need to name it Golf and dispense with the idiotic ID naming scheme. Only when affordable, good-looking cars like this become readily available will EV adoption become meaningful. I also love the fact this is a two-door, those few extra inches are essential for those of us with a full-frame that want to

I drove a brand-new high-trim Escalade last year for a couple of weeks as a “loaner” (friend got it but was out of town and my car was in the shop so he let me borrow it). $120K window sticker was still in the back seat. One of the worst-driving vehicles I’ve ever been in, and I grew up driving old trucks. The

Fun Fact: If he drives in reverse, it makes gasoline!

I definitely am under the impression they looked at the late 80s through the 90s Civic as design inspiration for this. To me it has a design elements of the 4th-6th generations sprinkled throughout with the front fascia and grill hark to the 6th gen particularly (slimmer headlights from 4th/5th).

Just recovering from the shock of seeing a new car interior with clear, individual buttons and dials for the climate control.

Good thing you paid for that TruCoat.  It’d be a pile of corrosion now if you didn’t.

I’ve seen one.  It sounds like a standard turboprop.  Buzzzzzzz.  It’d be interesting to have one where they have a similar-size turboprop take off, and then their plane, because I assume it’s at least a little quieter.

I also can’t imagine doing it with sea planes makes their achievement any easier...

Thank you. Canada did it first. Harbour Air is dangerously close to EV passenger service. They had their first flight two years ago.

Wait wait wait... is this really the first all EV passenger plane to take flight?

Just goes to show that when you make an affordable, practical vehicle the people will come.

With the Toyota Crown, That’s the second ugly two-tone Red & Black vehicle I wish I hadn’t seen this week

 That was a great read

Dreamlifter, a modified 747-400 that carries 787 Dreamliner assemblies on its wings.

uh, no, it carries them inside its giganto superguppyfied fuselage after hinging open the entire back half:

From my perspective, I don’t think it’s ever really going to go back to “normal” in the sense of what it was pre-pandemic. We’ll get a little more leveling off as supply chains get back to normal, but it’s kind of like what happened with airline tickets after 9/11 — the auto industry has realized people are willing to

But I bet we never will.

Nissan gets it.

It’s also is going to have an extremely large tourist base which would be unfamiliar with the layout of the land, in an unfamiliar car, distracted by their vacation or whatever else.
