The fatalities alone don’t tell the whole story. How many collisions and injuries to pedestrians and cyclists occur in right-on-red situations?

Yeah, that’s the impression I got from watching the video of the Harbour Air electric Beaver taking off. A surprising amount of the sound is from the propeller tips beating the air into submission.
I totally do not get the appeal of the Escalade.
A tan Ciera.
I mean, it’s essentially a C1 Corvette with a wagon rear end. What’s not to like love?
Why is it almost impossible to find footage of the Eviation Alice with sound? They’re all overdubbed with some dramatic soundtrack. I want to hear the plane.
Pickup trucks are MASSIVELY profitable. You don’t even have to finish the interior of the back 1/3 of the vehicle!
Exactly.
Volkswagen Golf GTE Sport Concept
Volkswagen W12 Nardo Concept
Dodge Rampage Concept
Chevrolet Nomad Concept.
Wait... did I just read this right?
You can see the right wing tip break and the wing tank rupture when it first hits the road (and that car in the right lane), spraying fuel all over the road, which started the fireball.
You’re an automotive journalist blogger and you’re just learning this? Hang your head in shame.
I agree with this assessment 100%. I even used the word “overwrought” in my comment below. So many creases, bulges, textures, and patterns. It’s like they had too many cooks and said “no” to none of them.
This has to be one of the most over-wrought automotive designs I have seen in years. And not surprising at all from GM. There are so many lines, shapes, textures, and motifs, the eye has absolutely no place to rest or make sense of any of it, both in the exterior and interior styling.
I would totally drive a Speedster replica, though in the northern climate, a hardtop 356 would probably be more practical.
And when they can rescue the ship, and they have to move to salvage/recovery mode, there’s this story:
It’s ugly, heavy, and tasteless. A relic of 1950s automobile styling. Not to mention wasteful.
