i still consider it one of the scariest films ever made, and that’s having rewatched it numerous times and knowing full well that it’s fiction. something about the highly believable, “here’s what it’s like to be lost in the woods” vibe which works for me.

Given that Monopoly evolved from a game created by a Quaker to illustrate the evils of capitalism, I would love to see an anti-capitalist monopoly game.

Not to mention the fact that Monopoly was invented to warn people about the evils of Capitalism.

I’ve thought that social platforms should have two sets of user profiles, one with verified identities and the other anonymous. Then, all users of the platform would have the option of ignoring all anonymous users. It won’t stop people from being ugly online, but least it would tamp down the attention one can get by…

It’s just that a lot of these trolls are happy to use their real names anyway.  They’re not scared.

Exactly. The only spinoff I think I would be interested in would be following Arya around as she explored what’s west of Westeros. That premise is pretty much a blank canvas to do all kinds of interesting things with.

Interesting. Any interview I’ve seen Stallone in, he’s always come across as pretty humble and down to earth, which surprised me considering his success and fame.

I think they could have told a smaller lower-stakes story about some of the wilder wildlings wanting to return to the status quo now that the walkers are gone. Maybe they kidnap some noblewomen on their way out or something and he’s tasked with leading some young lord north of the wall to rescue them.

They’re not just indiscriminately killing aid workers, they are deliberately targeting them. 

It’s weird that saying “30,000 dead, many of them civilians, is a bad thing, and maybe we shouldn’t indiscriminately kill aid workers” is considered controversial by some people.
