Don’t most predators go for the throat rather than the brain? I think that they’d work out pretty quickly these prey just keep biting and scratching at you no matter how hard you bite down. Probably not worth it.

Or maybe there’s been gossip and rumours in his industry for decades that ol handsy bob goes through a lot of female interns who quit unexpectedly (or whatever). So when it goes public his colleagues figure it’s probably best just to get rid of him asap before it gets worse.
