How did we become the dominant species?
Every time you observe Lent your odds of getting into Heaven increase by 2%. It’s modest, but over a lifetime it really adds up. Eating meat isn’t an automatic disqualification but it is taken into consideration for borderline cases.
This is Jason we’re talking about. Puttering along at 35mph in the slow lane behind the wheel of some weird, spartan little vehicle is his fetish.
I am so irked that Black kids are viewed as adults at 10 and white folks can be kids ti they are 30.
North and South Korea(who are our allies, btw) are a unified delegation for the Olympics. Maybe being the bigger man and standing for our allies should mean more than trying to stick to ole’ Un, no?
This is why I sold my sports cars and got trucks and wranglers. Pay more in gas, inconvenience yourself less with alignments and blowouts.
I completed my switch 2 years ago. I first switched my lowered VW to a wrangler in ‘10, then wrangler to truck and then I was finally able to convince the Mrs. that she would much rather have a wrangler over alignments, dented rims etc.
Nothing like throwing the patch from one lane away. I’m sure that’s effective...
I was going to same something snarky along the same lines. Like, “does this car even exist in full form?”
Show me the whole damn car! Jesus... can’t stand all these detail shots without an overarching establishing shot
Lindsay Graham’s comment is fucking stupid on its face - “We need an national event saying ‘Thank You’ to our men and women in uniform?”
Indeed. Someone at Honda should do the same.
Trump calling for everyone to agree on supporting his destructive policies is not a call for bipartisanship.
As someone who voted for Hillary with not a shred of doubt or concern (she’s the clear lesser of two evils) that tag line and every other bullshit phrase and platitude she uttered were cringe to the max. It’s like watching an AI try to learn human speech.
But think how lame comedy has gotten since it became less socially acceptable to make fun of minorities, women, the disabled and the marginalized.
I have always viewed political correctness as a modern extension of the Golden Rule. But I guess “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is a pretty rotten message to pass on to the next generation. A world where everyone contemplates how their words and actions affect others would be a pretty terrible…
