I know that the vast majority of car buyers aren’t enthusiasts.

hmm so in other words just like the original?
They’re not so bad. The only real problem I have with them is how close they were to actually looking amazing.
That’s racist :).
I’ll be honest: I’ve always wanted a BMW X6.
“It seems people pay an exhorbatant (sic) amount of money to surround themselves in luxurious plastic trim.”
I, too, have met Audi owners.
Europe has a plethora of “general transportation” commodity vehicles. The thing is, they’re not sold in the US.
I hate to quote a commercial, but.... have you driven a Ford lately?
That’s an interesting (and very general) take. Euro snob much?
Yup! Probably depreciating the least of any new vehicle on the market, so I really disagree with the OP. I’m trying to replace my 2010 with a 2013+. Impossible without paying the price of almost a new one.
Well it is in great constitution, after all.
Damn. That was a lot of work for a fairly crummy joke.
Clearly you’re not looking for a used, latest gen Rover right now. They’ve been out 3 years and are barely depreciatimg. I know this because I’ve been looking for a used one for years.
Is...is this a bad deal or something?
It’s clearly a Linconl Navigater.
How about $2.1 billion for a 2003 Lincoln Navigator?
To watch the same 5-10 cars get suggested for every ebay challenge, no matter what the subject is, apparently.
Given the overwhelming number of people on Jalopnik that balk at high-mileage cars in the NPOCP posts, it really shouldn’t be.
“Can someone explain to me why some people are so damned afraid of high mileage?”
I love the W123 coupe as much as the next Jalop, but that’s a prime example of “Ok, let’s take two doors off it and call it a day.” The C-pillar is literally the only difference between the sedan and the coupe.
