Easy - he was retaining someone and 2 guys started charging him, one reaching behind his back.

She was resisting a lawful order to disperse. And how do you recommend that he put her on the ground and in cuffs? Hallmark card? Candy?
Yes, she did. As did the hundred others there, but unfortunately there weren’t enough cops there to handle it.
So trespassing, refusing to obey lawful orders, refusing to vacate premises when asked, drinking, smoking, assault, possibly car theft, vandalism are “things teenagers do” now?
If my daughter (yes, I have 2, but they are only 11 right now) were that lacking in basic manners, civility and respect, then I would have taken her home, dried off her tears and asked her what she learned. Hopefully it’s not to be an asshole.
Maybe next time she’ll actually be thrown to the ground and learn to be civil?
Freedom of speech doesn’t include mouthing off while resisting arrest, just like freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can yell “Fire!” in a crowded space.

It isn’t a public pool, it’s a community pool that allows 2 non-resident guests to attend with a resident.
A 14 year old girl who is trespassing and resisting lawful orders isn’t exactly a child.
At the time of that little section of video, there was a single officer on scene, and he was subduing a subject resisting arrest. He was doing a great job, even after the two guys charged toward him.
I’m not. But I’m pretty sure that you aren’t either.
Not really. But it makes bloggers feel better about themselves.
No, Tim Cook is a CEO looking out for the bottom line, and pandering is part of those job duties.
It’s no longer clear that Silicon Valley is forging the future of technology. A number of cities around the world are now giving the California tech hub a run for its money, none more so than Seoul, which is home to a growing number of startups building chaotic, multifunctional, and decidedly original apps.
Sorry - never mind - I just noticed Purple hair in your profile picture.
Why would you need philosophers to do anything? This is science, pure and simple. Philosophy has nothing to do with it.
Yes - they all come out. But on the other hand, they probably aren’t stupid enough to not stop when a cop yells “Stop” at them.
I really wanted the SHO the first year it came out, when it had zero special badging or identifiers - it was the ultimate Q car. Then they made it all “LOOK AT ME!” and I didn’t want one anymore.
So the real question here is how many of the “yeah - kill flash” commenters are the same ones that were “what - the iPhone doesn’t support flash? what a p.o.s!”?
