I think I’m afraid of being disappointed, generally. Not become the game would be “bad”, but more that sometimes I feel like designers made bad decisions for reasons I don’t always accept (money, lack of time, catering, etc.).

Also, games tend to be something I enjoy better when I take the time to immerse myself

On his defense, most people don’t even bother asking nicely for players to switch to a more appropriate character. Most of the guys on this video don’t ask correctly/politely. I mean, Dunkey would surely not care anyway, but it’s definitely a reason why I always end up stopping to play these games. I used to play

Agree with you on so many points. It feels like when a game has been out for a little while, some people “stop playing” the actual game, they end up playing some mental, meta game where victory and “perfect” execution is all that matters...

Any game can be fun when everyone gave it their all no matter who they played,

Anxiety diarrhea is horrible, although for me it’s more stress constipation :P

Fear of failure and success is pretty much what keeps me awake, some issues that comes from who I am. Probably a lack of acceptance of life and myself too, I’d say.

Witcher 3 has been amazing to play lately, also always watch game grumps and smash bros plays before falling asleep, and highlight reels if it’s out.

Grandia....awesome soundtrack right there

Probably Chrono Trigger, Starcraft, Final Fantasy VI, Super mario rpg LotST, Terranigma...every rpg on the SNES, really.

isn’t that the best though? She uses the TV while you play on PC!

I’m having the same issue now...there are no reason to communicate much with others. To find the same high I had when I first started, becoming a hardcore raider seems to be needed...but gosh, it takes so much time, emotional fuel and efforts to keep the pace. Before, I could get that high by just beating some rare

It might be possible, but worth it? dunno. I also lost 70ish pounds down until I had a 6-packs and it was never worth the effort to maintain it

Depends on your age, probably. I lost 70 pounds between the age of 17 and 21, I had excess skin on the belly and chest which “replaced” itself a little over the next years. I had surgery on the chest, though.

My biggest tip would be to make sure to retain as much muscle as you can in your weight loss process, so that

If I wanted to write articles like most of you do about games and such, where would I start? If I was to, hypothetically, apply to Kotaku, what would you be asking for/looking for? I’m wondering how someone even get started/recognized.

Wow...that battlefield streak was intense

How I loved Neverwinter Nights; and I can’t even explain why. For hours I would create characters, and that over many years... I never finished it. Jeremy Soule is an amazing composer

They took risks rather than go constantly for fail-proof, optimal choices. It’s like a love story: who’s gonna take the first few horrifying steps to reach the other’s heart? I feel like this is what happens when developers take artistic, passionate risks.

Most games today are like acquaintances; it’s fun to hang out

I can’t take this...
therefore
praise the praise the sun!

Well said, kinda agree.

To be honest, you’re making too many assumptions. Pattern memorization is pretty much automatic in the human brain, depending on a couple variables. Hyper light drifter gives you all the tools to understand what is happening in combat. Every attack have a wind-up animation. It’s intuitive if you concentrate.

I agree it

One of the few games that made me explore everything, up there with Dark Souls. I loved it, although I was a bit disappointed by a lack of multiple endings.

It’s weird to me to undermine a game for it’s difficulty, because I don’t -feel- the difficulty. It’s was weird to me to see anything said about its difficulty. I

fairly sure it's controller, take a loot at 5:45 when he jumps and spins his camera. Trust me, controller is very natural to a lot of players and it is insane.
