I agree with Scorsese, mostly. Twenty years ago, I could open the print version of the AV Club in the Onion, read about new releases, and find their playing times in the local NYC art house cinemas. The “content” had a way of finding its way to me easily. Today when I scroll through Netflix, Amazon, et. al., the way

Hahaha! Shit-tinted glasses indeed. Post-irony has really fucked some of these writers up.

I wasn’t as receptive to his superhero argument, but this I can get behind. I very snobbily mostly watch my movies on Criterion, and as one of those people, I hate to hear something like Fellini or Jodorowski referred to as "content". It just seems so surface level to refer to something so deep.

So... Inaccessible?

I couldn’t be more frustrated with nearly every aspect of the industry these days, so I’m all for any criticism it gets.

Wow, it’s almost like you know literally nothing about Scorsese’s efforts to preserve and distribute foreign films and those made by PoC, and have completely misunderstood his point!

But he’s right. And it’s not because the industry has moved passed him like you suggest, it’s because with a glut of everything, it has added to diminish artistic value

He doesn’t seem very content.

Not my favorite Ludlum novel

I do feel I can finally publicly admit that I always found Once More With Feeling to be irritating and annoying and not as clever as it thought it was.

I was making fun of people who say “I never liked him anyway” whenever a celeb is exposed as an asshole. Sure, I imagine some of the people who say things like that are sincere, but other times it feels like trying too hard.

You could at least read the article -

Joss must have been a real monster. There is no excuse for this behavior and it saddens me that some of the characters that I grew up with and love, were fighting monsters both on screen and on set.

My guess is that every Hollywood journalist is now bombarding everyone who even had a tangential relationship with the show with interview requests. My guess too is that things are about to get really worse for Joss. My final guess is that those of us who deeply loved the show (like me) will have yet another thing

The milk wholesaler adds value by making the milk much easier for consumers to get. It gets the milk from farms all over the place and moves it to a convenient marketplace. They earn their markup by adding value.

Regan also claimed that he personally, and the scalper group as a whole, regularly donate to charity, including giving most of their monthly membership fees to a local food bank.
