Frank Stallone? But he’s not really a person
I think you might have misread the title just a bit. Trust me, goats are not easy to handle. They’re stubborn, they’re strong, and they don’t respond to a yank on their harness. If you want to bring a goat to somewhere it doesn’t want to go, it is a book-length ordeal.
Becky is being replaced as manager by Sarah Chalke.
Shoplifting is a victimless crime, like punching somebody in the dark.
I get the impression Shatner is just an asshole in general, like Alec Baldwin, moreso than a groper/harasser/assaulter kind of asshole.
please say hello to our residents pedro & inez!
I think this is the first one of these that specifically really bothers me, in that I expected better out of George than this. The rest of them bother me in the general sense, of course, but none of those harassers and assaulters were people I particularly looked up to on any sort of personal level.
I know they think they’re getting back at “liberals”, but, in the first place, an incredibly costly and inefficient machine that serves only one person and creates almost as much waste as coffee is just about the most “conservative” thing in the world.
... Screaming at the top of his lungs, “This is not my large automobile!”
That must have been a once in a lifetime thing to see...
I was kind of hoping that the Star Trek religion from that one Futurama episode would make it in.
As far as I’m concerned, we are two people who had a conversation. I concede that I might have an air of flippancy about me that could come across hostile, but it’s a factor of the referenced exasperation, and I’m not angry now nor an angry person in general. You seem like a fine sort, and as the song goes, “I’m so…
Supporting the women CK harassed is the most important thing here. I hope he confesses and tries to atone, but even if he does, I can’t think of what he could do to make up for the hurt he caused these innocent people.
Meh. I don’t see any need to apologize for making the distinction between a rumor and an accusation. Past articles and commenters misrepresented what they were and I don’t feel bad for pointing that out.
I was one of the folks who was like “We should maybe withhold judgement until there are named accusers.”
These stories got plenty of pushback on Jezebel and old Gawker too. The reason why this one won’t is because there are actual substantiated claims made by real people. These aren’t the tittering giggling innuendos that originally accompanied these “stories” about Louis CK.
After reading The NY Times article, I’m glad a journalist investigated the rumors.
No. I’ll freely admit to being wrong about Louis, but the nature of the previous non-stories were crap and deserved to be called out as the rumor-mongering they were.
Uh, there were no allegations (not even anonymous ones) on record and Kirkman denied her article was about LCK. And the origin of the story appeared to be a Gawker article.
“it’s not as if that pathological liar Hilary was any better!”
