I'm fairly certain that what I'm thinking of isn't following your model, but didn't the 360 get something like a zombie MMO announced? I could have sworn I heard something about it a month or so ago, but... maybe I'm crazy.

I'm not sure how Tetris was a perfect game. It quite possibly had some of the most bland characters I've ever seen in a game, which they attempted to cover up by making them more shapely.

I'm kind of hoping (foolishly) that the "Dude, bro!" atmosphere you mentioned will be absent from Gears 3. At the very least, I hope it's tuned down a bit. I pretty much got all that I could handle after KZ3, where every level transition was the team of beefy gentlemen jumping from an exploding vehicle.

If you do end up getting it for the PC, I know there are tons of mods that help improve the overall look of your character and the NPC's in the game, as well as add some new races for you to toy around with.
