Thank you for pointing out one of many factors that play into the huge disparities regarding when patients present with symptoms of mental illness.

There are a lot of reasons that result in many black people not receiving adequate mental health care.

That is a very sad story and thank you for the courage of sharing it. My first problems started in the early 80's, after which a psychiatrist told us my mom was to blame (ridiculous, and luckily outdated, nowadays).

I got your point. But sometimes they invest in ideas that sound stupid but they make boat loads of money, and sometimes they dont invest in brilliant ideas because they arent able to sell the product for whatever reason.

There’s nothing wrong with that. It just means that the production company is doing a good job. It’s the same thing in movies. The term for it is suspended disbelief. You’re brain accepts what it is being shown on screen, even though normally it would question it if it was seen in “real life”
