It’s because they’re loaded down with a combination of student loan debt and cell phone bills. Gotta eliminate something from the budget to pay for that worthless liberal arts degree and $1k smartphone + service. So, they drive a cheap, boring CUV.

Could the HOA take the angle that the tank is damaging the pavement? How much damage will driving it on the road do to the road?

The target market for these, according to a different article, is people pulling $250k horse trailers with horses worth over $100k each. Also those pulling $100k+ boats.

Please drive the bigger engine / manual option. Take a relatively tight turn in 2nd gear, and floor it in the middle of the turn. Report back on torque steer / traction / other issues.

Exactly. Start with out-and-back routes that start and stop at the same place. Think a UPS or FedEx truck that delivers to the house. The driver shows up to a fully charged truck, goes out and does his deliveries, and comes back and plugs it in. The truck is fully charged by the next morning.

You can also buy your choice of either a BMW M3 or a Ford F350 Dually for $80k. Neither will give you range anxiety, and both will allow you to justify parking like an asshole at the grocery store.

Looks like the only answer is to pick Team Incurable Gonorrhea.

This is good information. Very useful, and sassy.

Hmmmm.... Removing this regulation will make electric and hybrid cars cheaper, thus more attainable, leading to more sales. More noiseless electric and hybrid cars on the road means that more pedestrians and cyclists will inevitably get mowed down. As a result, the populations of pedestrians and cyclists will

VW is so bad, they’re above average.

If you can find one for $25k, it’s because it broke in half after somebody jumped it a bit too enthusiastically. Not ideal, but nothing a little JB Weld can’t fix.
