I didn't date much in high school either, but that doesn't mean I run around 30 years later demeaning, objectifying, and belittling men every chance I get. Not getting any in high school is no excuse.

I would SO love to get through an entire month of comic reading and not feel gross. It's been too many decades for me to hold my breath, though.
Well THAT point sailed right over my head. Doh.
"he's even got permission (the Feds pretty much offered to wipe them out FOR him)."
I don't think those wrapped packages are burial dolls, or at least I don't think they are only burial dolls, because there was that news story of the empty mass grave that make me thing that something REALLY sick is going to happen. I also think the dolls will end up back in people's houses, not in the church. They've…
She's not always loud and obnoxious to be funny. The work on her sitcom is neither and is still pretty funny, albeit I've only seen a few episodes. Her work on Gilmore Girls is downright against type with how cute and reserved her character is and yet is still funny.
I graduated high school mid 80s and when I think of 80s nostalgia Twins doesn't even hit the radar. Technically Kindergarten Cop came out in 1990, but if they needed an Arnold/80 revival sequel, why couldn't they go with that one? At leas the movie was good.
The mitigating factor with Turtles is kids. You're not going to get a huge family audience for Triplets. I remember when Twins came out. I saw it in the theater and it was, "meh." I have no idea why they're making a sequel. All I know is it's going to be something I'm not even going to bother with when it hits cable,…
I hate the compartmentalized idea that each hero should have specific villains. They have an entire universe to play with. There is no reason in my mind why The Flash or Arrow should never go up against Catwoman or The Joker or Lex Luthor. In fact an Oliver Queen, Lex Luthor story would be amazing. DC needs to shake…
That would be awesome.
I'm a little surprised by the speed but I assumed it was going to happen. Considering the number of fans the book has and considering that Starz doesn't have many other wildly successful shows right now it would have had to have completely bombed to prevent renewal.
Considering that Outlander was published 5 years before GoT I think you may have that a bit backwards?
I have decided that as long as it has the Knave of Hearts I don't care. I may be cheap and easy in this respect, though.
That paragraph made me see red. Bright candy colored red. Because all of us abused women becomes strippers. Right, Frank? None of us become administrative assistants, or professors, or scientists, or baristas .... *breathes*
I don't know. As a movement, it's growing and becoming more mainstream kind of like the under swell of Star Trek fans did between the cancellation of the show and the first movie. Having lived through both times, the feel is the same to me. Add to that the increase in Whedon's cache and we *might* someday see another…
Well, they did show that he's Steve's first and only non Avengers post thawing friend, which makes him pretty important, IMO.
I'd like to see Bucky last more than one movie, but after a short bout himself, I would like to see Sam as Cap. More than all of this, though I'd like Chris Evans to change his mind.
I want to see the Winter Soldier as Cap more.
I wasn't put off by his killing Zod. I was troubled by the casual destruction of Metropolis, though. I mean, look how traumatic 2 buildings collapsing in a Metropolitan area has been to the US. You'd think, Clark Kent, who lived through 9/11 with the rest of us, would have kept that in mind and at least *tried* to move…
I agree I'd prefer to see Doctor Horrible 2, but if he's got his heart set on Shakespeare please let him NOT pick Romeo & Juliet. I'd even prefer Midsummer Night over R+J.
