@lodown is waiting for MizJenkins: The reason I responded to you is that I think using the broader definition of censorship makes us think about power structures that exist in our nations and in the world. Our actions are controlled by more than just sovereign governments, and censorship does not have to be complete

@lodown is waiting for MizJenkins: I am in no way trying to justify or agree with what pantybuns has said throughout this thread (particularly the post below in which there is a lot of talking about high-waisted underwear), but I want to point out that you don't need the government for there to be censorship. In the

If there is a hell, "abused his position of authority and entice[d] and persuade[d] minors to comply with the sex acts by providing the promise of food and shelter." is a line from the most perfect enrollment application ever.

Where I used to call all of you "Jezebel commenters," I shall now say "My Cackle of Rads"

The story of what happened on August 18th, 1920 is pretty cool. This was the day that the amendment was ratified, not the day that it went into effect. But I like celebrating today, because of the story of Harry Burn and his mother, Phoebe.

@all: I think that his use of gestures at "crooked hand," "sun," and "azure" show that someone is trying to teach him what the words mean, not just to repeat what he is hearing.

@WickedLittleHigh: Thanks for the advice! I wonder sometimes if the nausea is a reaction to the pain as opposed to actual nausea.

@sarahbear: Yeah - it has gotten to the point where I can handle the pain (over a decade of dealing with them builds up the tolerance), but when the nausea kicks in, I'm down for the count.

@malishka: That is the best baby face ever. Your doggie looks like a sweetie, too.

@alliebeau: Thank you. I wanted to see a gif-ed version of this, but lack the know-how to do it. It is even scarier when looked at like this!

Well, I guess in a way he did answer the question.

@HallelujahRIP: But there are also cases of people using their cell phones to take surreptitious photos of attackers. I wouldn't want there to be a noise that could put those people in further danger. It is a hard question.

@yidvicious: I think the editors read the British papers and tabloids. The Brits and the French have a long-standing, sneering dislike of each other. My bet is that we end up with a lot of these stories because the Brits love to mock the French.

Are they taping GH on a Flip camcorder these days?

@Sarah Beuhler: The thing is that if you open the post in your browser then take the time to look at the post/photos and to write your comment, the comments don't refresh. So unless you refresh the page and then look at the comments, you can not even realize that other comments have been made before yours.

@conokie: I am so, so sorry about all of it. It is terrible that it is all taking you away from spending time with your mother. My thoughts are with you.

Last summer, I made an affirmative decision to never say anything negative out loud about my body.
