@all: Thanks, everyone. I'll get on that and be here discussing the recaps with you in no time!

@danielly37: That is not a bad idea. I live in Philly, so we have a pretty big library...

I am going to have to start watching this show, aren't I? I have never been much into the vampire thing, so I avoided it. But the comments in Groupthink and these recaps have convinced me.

@magicwaffle: You know, we suck at a lot of things here in the US, but as far as freedom of speech/expression/religion, we are pretty kick ass. Whenever I feel sad about this country, I read the text of the First Amendment.

@whats_in_a_name: I have these sorts of tile in my bathroom. I hate it so much. I feel a need to tell people that it isn't my fault. Now just about every inch of my bathroom is covered in oversized rugs.

My initials make Delta Hotel Tango.

@cisum88note: Dude - I am a Bears fan and a Yankees fan. I think if we were ever in the same room at the same time, we would create a black hole that would swallow the world.

@toe-to-toe: I am presently watching Hot Tub Time Machine. I think it might be related...

Anyone have experience housebreaking puppies in an apartment? There is a flight of stairs between me and the outdoors, and they are only four and a half months old, so there is no way they are going to hold it...

@ablative: Awesome! Go you, being bold. I want to be the sort of person who would stay on the floor when everyone left, but I don't think I am (not yet, anyway).

@another_uncreative_name: I find that he sometimes plays the "everyman" and asks some of the questions/comments that he thinks people in society would ask/say. People watch the show in part to see jobs that are strange, so I think feels that he has to point those weird things out, and it sometimes seems patronizing.

How is a person supposed to organize her spare room when there is a Dirty Jobs marathon on?

@a_blackpanther: I would argue, though, that considering the disparate rates of both conviction and death sentencing between white people and people of color, I can't say with certainty that those on our death rows have truly had a fair trial, either.

@ashke: I am glad they are useful tips! I have learned a lot in the past two years because I volunteer at a LGBT legal clinic.

All the best. You've done great work here, I can't image how awesome your next adventure will be. I wish you all good things.

@TheLadyK: It is always funny to me how often the answer to an "OMG, how do I handle this totally new thing" can be found in Emily Post. If people just remembered that etiquette, while it seems old-fashioned, is just a set of protocols that we as a society agree to so that everyone is comfortable, I think you and I

@Institutions: There are people who identify as androgynous, who do not fit into the societally-constructed gender binary at all.
