Err hid it.
Err hid it.
The new interface showed up. It’s nice I guess but I like using the plain-vanilla interface that just has a text list (and also notes when something is being pulled a couple weeks in advance). Sure enough, Netflix hit it. But I’m way ahead of them. Had it bookmarked. Hahaha Netflix.
That was just cringeworthy. It would have been bad enough if he’d said, “I can’t keep focused on my work because of all those hawt girl scientists!” But for a considerably-less-than-attractive guy to start bragging how all the hawt girl scientists are falling in love with his homely ass is just embarrassing beyond…
Businesses profit from region locking (depending on which businesses we’re talking about), which is why they want to maintain it. Movie and TV makers can increase the profits off a single movie or show by having multiple parties around the world bid on the rights. Even better, you can sell the same content to movie…
Pretty much synchs with my experience. I can tell the difference between a $20 bottle of wine and two-buck Chuck but above $20, it all kinda gets fuzzy anyway. I tend to stick with the $10 price point, when I’m not gambling on Chuck (who can be pretty tasty if you luck out).
I’m afraid F4 is going to flop and everyone will blame “they cast a black guy as Johnny Storm” when that’s not really the reason...most of the characters are badly cast and judging from the trailer, the film is a generic sci fi action romp with some Marvel-licensed proper names slapped on here and there.
Light Egyptian, lol.
They can also tell when people are bailing after two minutes and then posting a one star review.
Yepper and then post a review complaining that Neflix doesn’t allow zero stars. They should make an exception for this.
Keep your subscription and boycott Sandler’s movies (or just ignore them as I plan to anyway). That way your negative vote registers with Netflix’s vaunted algorithm.
He should make them as red as Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars. There’s a nerd reference for ya.
Too...expected. They should have surprised us...maybe a slick looking well-dressed Joker whose exterior sanity is deceptive. This just fails to make me curious about what I’m going to see in the movie.
The Empires still uses CDs? Lol, no wonder the Rebels beat them.
If you can't afford at least a 10% tip, then don't go out to eat. Anything with table service requires a tip unless the service is spectacularly, mind-bendingly, egregiously awful.
Yikes! That's my Dumbass Video for the Day.
If Valve gets an F, what does EA get? Z doesn't seem adequate. Time to start inventing new letters of the alphabet.
Those girls look like superheroettes...Ballet-Woman and Leopard Lass.
Wow, that sucks. I used to work at Maxis in the glory days, pre-EA (all the way back to the Moraga office). Got a nice bundle of early-employee cash from them too. Good times till EA wrecked everything.
YouTube is great for free documentaries and some old movies (not all). A good adjunct to the mainstream services.
Ugh, a la carte channels would be a mess, but that does seem to be where we're headed, at least for now. If AMC goes a la carte, d'ya think they'll keep licensing their stuff to Netflix? All the channels will keep their stuff exclusive which means subscribing to multiple channels, with the attendant cost and headache…
