Michael Cera - terrible, or awful?
Michael Cera - terrible, or awful?
I love how they let us know he was British by having him say "Dog's bollocks". Is this James' kid, I wonder?
Well consider the source. Shelley once thought Leo was her dream man
Nah its Lynch. There's tons of nudity in most of his movies, including FWWM
There are a lot of people out there who only remember the quirky and light aspects of the show, coffee and cherry pie etc, and haven't seen anything else Lynch has done. I'm sure they tuned out after the glass box insanity.
This. It is terrible, a weird idea, it's like a Family Guy bit that deliberately goes way past the point of humor into some surreal exercise in fucking with the audience.
So, classic Peaks, really. Though Forster's reactions to it pretty much made it worthwhile.
Yeah, Bob probably wised up after a while. You can't just run around murdering people because you'll get caught and then have to start over. With Cooper he's found someone skilled, with a knowledge of crime, that allows him to be a bad as long as he has a little patience
LOL yeah that's what I thought too. Shelley doesn't have great taste in men.
Yeah he's been making a quiet comeback on TV - he was on The Bridge and is currently popping up in Amazon's Bosch
I know, right, this radical visionary with his one episode a week idea. It'll never catch on!
Fascinating. It felt more like a followup to Lost Highway than Twin Peaks. Totally sinister vibe with dread looming over everything. I imagine anyone who tuned in for the nostalgia of the quirky/cherry pie stuff probably didn't make it past the half hour mark.
I could tell there was some silly CGI but it didn't bother me much. However…there's an effect in episode 3 that looks like it was done on a Nintendo 64.
Apparently no it is only the first 4 being shown this way, it's all one a week from 5 onwards. "At Lynch's insistence" according to wikipedia.
Wrong! It's behind the electric talking brain-tree.

BUT IS TWIN PEAKS WOKE???!?!
Especially since his character died!
Or…David becomes Ash. His big plans get foiled in next movie, Has to put himself in a new body to escape detection etc.
Really, it should have been blatantly obvious the second we realize there are two Fassbenders in the movie. Any time you have an actor playing two characters in the same movie, 90% chance they're doing a switcheroo at some point.
I win! I always win. Is there no-one on this planet who can even challenge me?
