Sons of Anarchy II : Lost in New York
Sons of Anarchy III : The Return of Xander Cage
I was at my brother in laws and started flipping through some Walt Whitman poetry book. Funny story actually, there was something written in it that…er, you know, maybe I shouldn't be talking about this. Also, I am a ghost.
I'm totally seeing it! I love the games and it looks like they're capturing the games perfectly. I really hope this is the first ever good videogame movie.
You like these people when they're being funny! Now see them not being funny! (Please?)
They kind of both seem like dumbasses, or at least not exactly astronaut material.
It's because the Christmas through New Year period is pure bank at the box office. You got two weekends where people aren't doing anything, they have family over etc so they typically go to the movies. So you get a big pileup of new movies, many of which end up being the alternate choice when the big one is sold out.…
This reminds me a lot of The Tourist. Let's put two hot stars together and release it at Christmas, we can't lose!
Neither of them are meant to dethrone Rogue One, over Christmas, plenty of movies can do well. That last Sherlock Holmes movie made $200 million against Avatar. Last year Daddy's Home quietly made $150 million because…it was there.
Even if it doesn't make it in the US, Assassin's Creed will clean up overseas.
Yeah, I think the CGI wasn't quite ready for what Lucas was doing. It's too obvious and weird-looking and already feels "old" in terms of special effects whereas the original Star Wars still looks fine. I saw some of Avatar again the other day and that still feels modern and cutting edge, and doesn't look obviously…
Just the sight of Han Solo and Chewie was pretty much enough to clear the low bar! The prequels needed that kind of Han character. As it is, there was no audience-relatable everyman, we were forced to just listen to all these ultra serious dorks.
Lol, machines building machines indeed.

I knew I could count on Dermot Mulroney! Thanks for keeping my spot at the top warm :)
