Can I get a "What Quarry tells us about season 2 of Stranger Things"
Can I get a "What Quarry tells us about season 2 of Stranger Things"
It's the AV Club, they'll watch anything
So uhhh we're not getting regular coverage of Quarry then?
Ben couldn't be here, he was too busy getting sweaty and wasted in some Florida shithole
Jeb is a mess
Alright, here are my final picks…that Son of Zorn debut number put me off from keeping it. So :
Should I keep it then? :) Fox is brutal with Sunday shows that don't pull in Simpsons/Family Guy numbers. But it seems they want this one to work.
See also : the Russian prison guards at the beginning of Ghost Protocol. Wacky Pegg causes a prison riot with his hi-jinks, and I'm sure none of them were brutally murdered, because the film didn't show it.
Hm, on the one hand I love the show and its the kind of thing I'd watch for many seasons, but on the other hand, dramatically, it would get kind of hacky for everyone to keep covering up/murdering their way out of things until everyone in the Florida keys not named Rayburn is dead. So this sounds like a pretty OK…
Oh God, you can tell its fall when there are Pumpkin spice lattes, falling leaves, and a sadface Jake Googlehell Oscar bait wannabe.
wat
Interestingly he is actually playing Ted Kennedy in an upcoming movie about Chappaquiddick
I know! (See my post below). Actually it just occurred to me - "Bobby Saint" could turn out to be Jigsaw with a name change. They want to keep it as a surprise. He'll be a generic mobster until about, ohh, episode 9 until he gets fucked up. Just speculating and considering that Ben Barnes is ludicrously pretty…
As far as I know, Bobby Saint and the Travolta villain Howard Saint were just characters written for the mostly disliked movie, which was half-assedly based on the acclaimed Garth Ennis "Welcome back, Frank", and have never existed in comic form. (They replaced Ma Gnucci, who was a grandma running the mob, I guess the…
"Bobby Saint", WTF? Why are they taking cues from the Punisher movie that got everything wrong? This is not a character that has existed in the comics AFAIK. Barracuda or GTFO
Re: Pitch, I proposed last week that baseball is the one major sport that's mostly ignored by the black audience. This, plus trying to sell a sports show to women = two strikes? I think this is a lock and it'll be on my revised ballot next week, unless some other weak show gets disastrous news before then.
Yeah in Escape plan iirc
Oh, well, that's just…so…uhh…yeah.
I'm still kind of suspicious that Ridley Scott thought he'd hired Tom Hardy to be in Prometheus, and nobody noticed the difference until halfway through filming
Excuse me sir, this is a food website, not a sports website
