When we said we wanted a Wil Wheaton type, we didn't actually mean Wil Wheaton!

The TBS show The Detour felt to me like a pretty good successor.

Yeah it's a sad coda to the series. The original was bawdy at times, but the remake-quel crossed the line to random disgusting humor and was just sad to watch.

-Ew Clark, this tent smells.
-Edna, this is your tent!

I'd totally take my dog out for a walk and not pick up the poop. Yeah fuck you, society!

I hate when I commit the faux pas of murdering someone and then it gets awkward at dinner parties.

The first one feels like a weird spinoff or side-story from its own series. They create this interesting premise but barely do anything with it until the sequel.

Yeah he's 80 now, still churns one out every year

Sidney Lumet made Before the devil knows you're dead at age 82/83, but yeah it looks like Clint may be the oldest.

-Hey everybody, remember Ellen Page?
-No.

Paul Dano knows his "appeal" - he's happily had Daniel Day Lewis, Daniel Craig, and Hugh Jackman beat the shit out of him onscreen

Vinny, you must persevere and overcome adversity to triumph so we can end on a freeze frame!

Jeez, two fucking titans of cinema right there.

Oh sure, two days of actual filming, but the other five days were spent in the makeup chair.

Heh, that might have just been a case of "Ehh, Bulgaria again?". Anyway his replacement Harrison Ford seemed like he was enjoying himself!

The police?

37 year old, 400 lb kids.

"Sir, we're closing now, please stop asking employees for $20 million to star in Die Hard 6"

Probably money - as I understand it, the VOD deal is that they'll pay stars like Willis and Deniro etc handsomely for about 2 week's work on each of these; they use their name and marquee value to generate foreign pre-sales, and give the main roles to B list actors, and will typically shoot somewhere cheap like

He's doing a Death Wish remake which is apparently a legit studio release but sounds just as tired as everything else he's been in lately
