The ironic part about the myth is that the opposite is true. 30FPS is actually around the lowest the eye can see and still believe that it's continuous motion. It's a film standard because when movies first started being made they needed to reduce costs. So 24-30fps became the standard because it was the cheapest…
What you just said is something that has been passed around for quite some time and is a myth. Typically the myth is, "people can't see above 60fps" and sometimes it's 30fps. Eyes don't work that way. 30fps is about as LOW as the human eye can watch without the motion looking really jerky. The below video does a…
Until you fix it.
You are either severely misinformed or your hawk eye is broken if you think people can't see the difference between 45 and 60 frames. I can see the difference between 58 and 60 frames.
Well pointless assumption you're trying to shove in my mouth aside, I was and still did refute the senseless point that the human eye is somehow capped at 45fps.
lol...just so wrong and ignorant.
I'll still never understand people who seriously think 30-60fps is our limit for some arbitrary nonsense reason, when evidence showcases fighter pilots could consistently distinguish a picture injected in one frame at 1/220th of a second.
Well, you can broadcast so that means, technically, you are recording to a temp file that is then uploading to the Steam servers that then broadcast to people. But nothing that records a local file to your PC. I do agree that they should just go ahead and do that.
you're not an amazing human being, you're a shite person who thinks gaming on a PC makes you better than everyone.
I disagree. The developer can cap a game at whatever they like. Console games do it all the time. Ports of console games do it all the time. Some developers let you decide what framerate you'd like your game at. Some developers give you the vsync option to allow you to prevent tearing between your fast GPU and slow…
amazingly, your incredible PC doesn't come with spell-check
I always forget about ShadowPlay. Thanks.
If you have a nvidia GPU (GTX 650 or higher) ShadowPlay will do.
Cool! But sorry to break this down to ya but games aren't natively capped at 60fps. That's just you leaving vsync on in all your games to match your monitors refresh rate.
Now we just need a video recorder and we'll be set. Unless of course there's already one which I'm not aware of.
There are so many FPS games, you have to have a counter for them!
Because I'd be surprised if it was anywhere near as good. Some jokes/ideas just don't work for longer than 5 min
