You know what probably would have helped? A real trophy/achievement system like every other system has.

Just give up on Japan, Microsoft. It's wasted resources. Devote it to the countries that are actually buying X1. You'll never have Japan, but you can do more elsewhere than you'll ever do in Japan.
It'll be worked exactly as hard though. Nintendo has always maintained BC by having the CPU run at the same speed as the hardware it's pretending to be. That's the easiest way to do it, and they always take the easy way out
"When players don't have to think about what guns to bring, what items to carry, or what order to engage enemies in, the game reduces its vocabulary. It becomes flat and boring."

Afterall, Nintendo managed to build an entire system around this premise.
At that size, its a lot harder than you'd think
They need to be big enough to fit the icon for the weapon/tool. Which is about that size.
Seconded
my wife has gone through 2 3DSs cause the shoulder buttons die easily, plus kotaku had an article about smash brothers users going through their analog nubs like they were made of wax.
it would to me, it would to Carmack since that was his point.
thats x1's problem. And my PC couldnt run 720p, so there goes your theory
ps3 just told the controller PSP go's Mac address instead of its own to pair ps3 controllers with it
ill take the word of the guy responsible for the GPU and PC gaming over some fan. You're more likely to blow smoke up my ass than him.
its not just graphics though. Gameplay is affected. And vsync tearing is very distracting which makes the wiiu version win be default
no, PCs aren't really comparable. Even john Carmack says ps4 is like a high end gaming PC because its a single/fixed configuration
As I said, learn some math.
Nope. You have been misinformed. There is not a single game that'd play on PSP go but not PSP. Signed: A PSP developer.
You can put PS mobile/suit apps on it/develop them
