You have it backwards. If the simulation runs slower than the renderer, you get duplicate frames since nothing changed. It MUST go the other way around, with the simulation running at the same speed of the renderer or faster
that makes no sense. If the games physics update at half the rate of the graphics, then every other frame would be identical to the one before it
