I like the concept of having a weekly round-up, but can we get some voiceover describing the game a little bit? Even marketing copy and a release date would be fine, plus actual audio from the games’ trailers and not the stock stuff would help. The little graphic in the corner offers very little information and it’s

Too bad they didn’t include an explanation for each game in idk a caption or something

The fewer machines with DOTA or League, the better.

Pardon my ignorance of the procedures involved, but: why did the European Commission have to approve a U.S. company’s acquisition of another U.S. company? Is it because they have offices across the pond, or because their business volume in Europe is above some threshold or another -- what’s going on there?

Mask case?

What the hell is with the rampant racism in this article and comment section? “Medieval monarchy”? “Desert wasteland”? You don’t have to be a fan of Saudi Arabia, or excuse its political assassinations and assault on Yemen, to refrain from this bullshit. And if you’re so worried about Saudi Arabia’s global influence

So, I’m playing FF14 right now, hopefully wrapping up Shadowbringers this week and catching up to the latest patch by this time next month if I’m lucky.

Hell yeah! I got really into this last year but quit partway through Shadowbringers. Started playing again yesterday on a lark and now I’m wondering why I ever took a break. Have fun, hope you find a nice FC to power through all that ARR content with!

Could you link the lawsuit? What court is the lawsuit filed in? Federal or state court?

Beautiful shot. Excited to be driving down there next weekend to camp and take photos of the birds near the Rio Grande.

This is incredible investigative work, Ash. Great job! Thanks for doing this!

Unfortunately my current rig was considered good in 2013; I’d need to replace just about everything, so I’m stuck between buying a prebuilt PC and building my own.

Question for the community. I’m in the market for a new PC, something for gaming but also for Adobe Creative Suite work I do (photo editing and book design, mostly). I’m pretty sure I don’t want to build a PC myself. How good a deal is this? The rig I’m using is sometimes stressed by how much multitasking I ask it to

Playing Final Fantasy XIV while I ride out this pandemic and put off other hobbies, especially drumming, until I get the house to myself again (and can receive, like, in-person instruction).

All that Foley work is genuinely awesome. Listening to the breathing segment - which I did *not* expect to go on for as long as it did - was deeply unpleasant, gotta say. But in a way, that’s very much to their credit.

Oh yeah, I’m really excited to grab a gunblade. I finally finished Final Fantasy VIII about a month ago, completing nearly a decade’s effort of picking it up, putting it down and intermittently restarting it. So of course I’ve got to cash in on that lil’ victory ASAP.

I’m psyched to try both of those out! I’ve mostly been bouncing between Summoner, Scholar and Red Mage, but I want Dark Knight to be my first attempt at tanking.

Final Fantasy XIV. I’ve been no-lifing this game for a couple of weeks now, after I got a few friends to hop on with me. Just finally closing in on the beginning of Heavensward content. I’ve never paid for an MMO until now, and I’m really, really loving this.

I am so much more interested in a wildlife conservation simulator than I am in a rootin’ tootin’ cowboy-shootin’ one. It would take a lot for me to download RDR2 again (not to mentino re-up on a PSPlus subscription), but this is a big point in its favor.
