This has been happening a lot in South Africa over the past couple of months, unfortunately. Opportunistic criminals looking to disable a car/the occupants thereof and steal the occupants’ possessions.

Probably the fact that my B207R sounds like a diesel at idle.

Probably the *ding dong* that a SAAB makes before it displays a fault message on the SID. That, or starting a SAAB and having it rev up to 3k because the throttle body is potentially on its way out.

Still (impatiently) waiting for the day that SAAB is resurrected like a PhoeniX from the ashes.

Neutral: South Africa. The fuel quality is so poor (and polluting) that manufacturers such as Ford have already stated that the Fiesta ST will not reach South Africa’s shores because the engine and emissions system would have to be modified extensively in order to be compatible with the fuel sold there. Will get worse

Boy do I have a contribution for this story. My dad has made some really shitty car buying decisions over the years. It all started with buying a ‘06 (IIRC) Jeep Cherokee Sahara 2 door - deafeningly loud modified exhaust, uncomfortable, cramped inside, heavy on petrol etc. This was later traded in for a 2008 Suzuki SX4

Didn’t see the original post, but this is definitely something that I can contribute to. Picture the scene: I’m driving to a restaurant on a Thursday afternoon/evening (5:30PM) to meet my fiancee for a relaxed dinner after a long ass day at work. My radio is off (I prefer the silence when I drive) and I’m stuck in

The correct way to pronounce “little”, if you’re missing a few teeth?

The first (and only) time I decided to change the OEM wiper blades on my previous car to Bosch brand wipers, they wore out within months. My car does stand in the open pretty much 24/7, but the OEM wipers I previously had had lasted many years. I definitely wouldn’t recommend them.

At this point, it seems easier to list all the agencies that Musk/Tesla aren’t in trouble with.

Why do I get the idea that very few (if any) of the Tesla staff who came up with the key card/app concept have ever been robbed of their smartphone at gunpoint (or otherwise)?

I just traded in my 2008 Suzuki SX4 for a 2006 SAAB 9-3 2.0T Vector (AT) with 169k kms on the clock. The front right (driver’s door) lock actuator works - sometimes - and it needs a little work cosmetically, but the way it drives and the comfort is incredible! Much better (in my opinion) than the Volvo S60's that I
