Amazing how irrational people can behave re: drugs. Like... there’s some simple solutions and we’re not even allowed to discuss them because it’s seen as taboo.

In every neighborhood I’ve lived in here in AZ, until my current one, there’s been a huge methlab bust! Ive always lived in mostly white neighborhoods till now. Now I’m the only white person in this hood and my life has never been so meth head free.

Heroin is wholly lumped in with prescription opioids these days because they’re inextricably linked. Prescriptions are what led thousands to move on to heroin that might not have otherwise.

I had to lol at that last paragraph because its a long road many of us have traveled and its like an out of body experience almost. For a long time I questioned my judgment because surely I couldn’t have been in the care of misinformed dummies, but many of us really were.

And that the poor and POC use drugs at a lesser rate than the average white population.
