Misread; disregard.

It'd have to be Gawker Media, that's for sure.

Hahaha, BMW sounds about right for that. Your sister is the exact type of person that truly benefits from leasing.

I appreciate the answer and agree up to a point. There's too much "up in the air" about the logistics of the plan, including how the gas station will be run and maintained (for example, when I first read it, I assumed few employees, which may or may not be accurate). Most of those costs, however, are calculable,

Oh no, I agree that it's not socialsim, I was just disputing the last point, the idea that the townspeople should fear that they're subsidizing gas. I don't know whether or not they're selling at cost, and I certainly don't think their pricing structure will be perfect, but they are going to at least consider that

Not necessarily. The station may be making no profit, but selling the gas at a price higher than cost, to cover the operating expenses, retrofit, etc.

This is a good strategy if you have a big dollar sign painted on the bag and your dealership is in a safe area.

I think you've got it bang-on, but I'd like to add one thing. I don't think the hybrid thing is really about saving money on gas. I think it comes down to the emotional wants of the buyer, whether that's the high-tech image or the status that hybrids have. That's why they can charge more than the potential gas savings

In an ideal leasing scenario, you're basically paying the depreciation of the car. I don't know exactly how the breakdown of the financing agreements work, but think of it like this situation, 3 years in:

It's OK, but to me, it's not nearly as nice as the Golf/GTI interiors. It's like it has all the right parts (nice pedals, decent wheel) but anything they had a choice on where to put (e.g. AC and radio controls) is in the wrong spot.

That's true about the 996 being a clean sheet design, but other profitable companies do clean sheet designs with great results that are competitive in their segments. Consider the A7 if we're talking about design, or the Model S if we're talking about entire platforms.

Porsche, unfortunately, doesn't publish profit per vehicle stats beyond across all vehicles. Anecdotally, I've heard from dealers that Cayennes and Panameras are higher profit-makers than the Boxster, Cayman, and lower-echelon 911s, but I can't really show my work on that one.

The Cayenne and Panamera (most purists

To fund research and development, you need sales, which they don't get enough of from their sports cars. The sports cars may have a higher markup (and I don't even know if this is true), but they wouldn't be able to fund the 911/918 without the Cayenne. Which makes it one of my favourite Porsches.

I don't know who.

I'd say "aero" is anything that directs airflow. Cooling ducts are one kind that isn't primarily used to affect lift or downforce. Another example is the Leaf's headlights directing air away from the mirrors to reduce noise.

Gun

I've never seen an F40 from that angle, it makes it look more like a "real car" to me, if that makes sense. That makes it more desirable to me.

Why are the clocks showing different times. This makes no sense. Fake

I never heard it before today, but given the way nursery rhymes are, I 100% believe that it's the original.

They're effective at being fast, but efficient isn't necessarily true.
