But hanging up because you think someone is ignorant is only going create more problems (like this one in Idaho) but it is also just plain unprofessional and is putting the patient at risk.

From the article it sounds like it might have been some power struggle between the NP and pharmacist. Its doesn't say that the pharmacist wouldn't fill the rx based on her beliefs. Sounds like a bitchy conversation and a poor patient getting horrible care because of it.
