I didn’t play FH4 because many reviews were saying it was just more of FH3 which I put a lot of hours in already.
But I have a new Series X, 4K HDR TV and Atmos sound system now and I am beyond ready to play FH5.

So is Detroit just Gotham City IRL at this point?

Car thief gets shot after crashing into police vehicle, accomplices flee on foot.

Fun trivia fact: You can fit the cities proper of San Fran, Atlanta, and Manhattan inside of the geographical boundaries of Detroit.

Er, it can’t actually, when following strict grammar rules. To be the “cop was doing the donuts” way, it would have to be written with a comma:

That being said, did the police officer identify himself as such?

Yeah a lot of people who carry guns assume they are the only person in the world who is going to have a gun on them that day. A buddy of mine got involved in a road rage incident years ago in Detroit and the guy pulled a gun. My buddy also had a gun so it turned into two guys with drawn guns staring each other down

Exactly. With the current environment this headline had me full tilt with my preconceived notions. Surely that was not by accident.

“Chief White also said these performance cars should arguably not be street legal, nor in the hands of anyone for that matter.”

That being said, did the police officer identify himself as such? Give proper commands? That part of the story is a little unclear as of right now. Hopefully there’s footage somewhere.

Maybe a rhetorical question, but there aren't cameras because cameras provide evidence, and evidence often gets in the way of people believing the story of the police without question. In this instance, cameras would probably show that the story the police chief told isn't quite true, and maybe the officer shot first

See, there are alot of places like Texas or Wyoming or wherever where people own guns because they like them. In Detroit you need them. It’s been that way since Coleman Young was mayor. In the D, the cops aren’t the solution they are a suggestion. That’s what happens when you pay the most dangerous assignments like

There was no body camera footage at all, because according to police, the shooting officer’s body camera became dislodged during the collision, per Chief White.

And I predict 500 more

Cameras are cheap. Memory is cheap. WHY, exactly, aren’t police vehicles bristling with cameras?

The skepticism is highly warranted, but I could see this happening since the unmarked cop car also appeared to be a Dodge Charger. ALL of the cars at these illegal “sideshow” events are Chargers or Challengers. Racing and hooning Chargers in Detroit is so common it’s reached meme status.

Yeah, I read it as the cop hit a car while he (the cop) was doing stupid tricks, and then proceeded to shoot an innocent.

He went on to say he’d “love to see auto manufacturers take some responsibility,” regarding the misuse of performance cars”

Alternate headline: Car thief gets shot, accomplices flee on foot

So this headline could be interpreted multiple ways you clickbaiter
