FF movies are great examples of popcorn flicks (that aren’t from MCU). Stupid, dumb, but ultimately very entertaining. Escape the hot summer heat for 2hrs and get candy/popcorn? Hell yeah.

Ehh, I’d say they are equally committed to both paths. They’ve diversified because they know their original revenue stream is based on a finite resource, while simultaneously protecting pro-oil standards and regs because that’s where the most money is right now.

Cops draw a line pretty quickly between “good guy” and “bad guy” and then steer their behavior based on that presumption. Their justification is that “well he’s guilty of something.” Don’t fall into that same trap.

I will say the same thing I said about Maserati trying to do the same thing...

3rd Gear: Oil companies have been diversifying for decades. There have always been fears that oil would end or decline and they’ve acted accordingly. Calling them energy companies is a more accurate term these days.

And you can’t wrap your head around the fact that the cop followed him for miles and only lit him up as he was about to turn into his driveway. I too would’ve continued to drive into my garage because if there was a problem, why didn’t the cop pull me over earlier?

A cop drew a gun in a private home, without a warrant, because somebody rolled a stopped sign? Supercop over here shouldn’t be allowed to do security for a Walmart, let alone carry a gun.

It was illegal from the get go.  The two prior courts simply got it wrong.

No, it wasn’t.  The 4th Amendment has been enforce since 1789.  It’s not a new concept.

I mean if we’re being honest and splitting hairs, this is less proper hatchback than it is a fastback. The opening is the same style as something like the A5 or Kia Stinger.

Just watched a YT video last night about a 20 year old arrested for public intoxication while walking at night. Cop claimed he smelled booze. Another cop came who had his body cam on. When the two talked together they both said they didn’t smell anything.

Right before Lange was going to turn in his driveway, the officer lit him up with his lights”

Ive told this story before here but i had a cop do a fucking somersault roll into my garage as the door was closing and drew her gun on me for the “crime” of seemingly not 100% stopping at the stop sign by my house.

I’m sure they don’t have reams of market analysis to guide their product line decisions.

This is exactly what went through my mind when I read the article. Unless the car was speeding excessively, swerving, and driving aggressively
(and I wouldn’t hesitate to think that a cop would lie about these things to cover his ass) there was literally no probable cause to enter this man’s property. Even if the man

It’s interesting that you would take the word of a police officer who broke the law over the private citizen.

I find it absolutely baffling that Honda would create this ‘hatchback’ along with a nearly identical sedan. Considering how sedan-like this ‘hatchback’ is, Honda would have gotten away with just creating the hatchback as the only model. Hatch-haters still would have bought the ‘hatchback’ version thinking it were just

I'd go for a paint spray booth instead.

It’s the first Civic in a while that doesn’t make me angry when I look at it. I like the design, the interior is really good. Congrats to Honda for going back to big, round, easy to read gauges and for making the manual available with the turbo engine.

Nice.
