Everything? Really? Division is over a year old and dying out. What else? ALso, reallllly stretching the term open world, aren’t we?

This looks better than Destiny to me. Don’t know how well Destiny 2 will deliver on its promises, but the first game sure as heck wasn’t open world. And the co-op add/drop wasn’t my seamless. And the narrative was a jumbled mess. There is room to play with the formula.
I don’t see anything wrong with a company trying something new. I mean, would you look at a Mario Kart release and say, “man, Nintendo should only be making platformers?” Also didn’t realize “Destiny” was a genre lol. The Division comes to mind, but otherwise I think you’re just slipping into MMO territory.
Just keep in mind, this is high level TOURNAMENT play. Would you feel discouraged about throwing a ball around with friends because of the skill displayed in a pro sport? Or watch a Melee tournament and decide never to play Smash?
Launch years tend to look like this. I had a day 1 xbox one and it was rough waters for awhile. Switch should start to shine next year, hopefully.
Keep the faith! Nintendo hasn’t launched their premium online service yet. It’s possible, with more robust network offerings and their smartphone communication app that the notion of a more connected Pokémon experience may entice Game Freak. If nothing else, maybe they’d revisit the Stadium franchise, and do another…
It might just be cultural perception. Genitalia are sex organs, whereas breast tissue is mostly fat and nipple. Menfolk run around with their bare nipples all the time in games. Exhibit- Conan himself.
I actually think they SHOULD sell the game. Oceanhorn enjoyed solid success and praise by blatantly being NotZelda. Others have pointed out Stardew Valley. It is fairly obvious what that game is built around, but enough original work was put in to legally just count it as another entry into the broader genre. The…
I don’t support OPs opening choice of words. I’m just saying that, with reports of rudeness in general plus that incident, I don’t default to shocked disbelief at a claim that she may have rude to service staff at some point. She’s been known to do that on occasion. Doesn’t make her evil, just immature.
Well, there was that one time she got busted licking donuts she hadn’t bought in a shop. The whole disrespect thing doesn’t sound far fetched.
I suspect it’s less about them wanting to punish and more about them wanting to keep modified 3DS’ with hacked software off their network. Issues like potentially stealing further titles and cheating in online play would be a concern. Honestly, if you’re doing stuff like this, your relationship is on rocky footing…
Hot temper lol
Wow. I’d hate to see you drunk. Chill out, it’s not that serious.
I think the issue is that the word console is being used in this conversation to mean console gaming machine and in-game command console. Hence the confusion.
Well, it depends. I’ve run into a few bugs, but only one that actually ticked me off enough to axe a character (it was related to one of the DLC’s). I also generally followed reported bugs, since with a game of this size there were going be.
My son loves Voltron and TF Prime. He’s still working on that, and I’ll direct him to Robots In Disguise after. I have two younger brothers (a decade+ apart from me). So I’ve had some ups and downs with what to introduce, which I adapt for my son. For example, anime isn’t a hard sell, because the ones I was into…
I’d honestly try a newer show. Yes, the originals only hold up in memory. I started my now 8 year old on Samurai. Then I went back and watched Time Force, since I’d never finished it, and then did a rewatch of SPD, and enjoyed both more or less. Not Emmy award winning tv, but not total travesties of failed…
That’s incredible. And gives me hope for Mass Effect 2 and 3 lol. I re-bought them on PSN just to not switch discs, but my PS3 is in my room hooked to an old CRT.
I’m not quite there with you on DA2. Fantastic game, just not my favorite in the series for certain design reasons. The recycled dungeons, while not a deal breaker, do get boring at times. I feel there is less choice impact than the other two, including some things that may have happened in your save where the plot…
But do you have to switch discs as you play?
