In his particular situation, I don’t know how you don’t go with John Hammcock. It’s a perfect fit (lol), but also there’s just bundles of gags (lol)

Putin invading Ukraine harmed Ukrainians, Gilbert setting a book in Siberia plainly does not.

I can’t find an example of it, but his mugging in the “I thought it was a volcano” sketch was high-level.

I’m referring to the State of Palestine, which has a functioning government.

I feel like 90% sure that we’ll never hear the name “Sabra” in the movie, and that she’ll be a superhero the same way like Sharon Carter was. They’ll probably just call her Agent Bat-Seraph, which is the character’s real name.  Even if I’m wrong, it’ll be like she gets a super punch in at one point and references that

You ain’t kidding.. she’s 5'2 and looks about 14. lol

Mostly what I find is that restaurant hummus is much, much smoother than anything I can find in stores. Sabra comes closest.

Now playing

Is the so-called Dawson casting the reason so many Millennials are trapped in a state of arrested development?

yes i’m sure Sabra will be handled as delicately and respectfully as she’s always been handled in the comics

It’s also an Israeli as imagined by the former generation of American Jews, a sort of caricature of what they would want Israelis to be (strong, physical, powerful, not intellectual), the opposite of how they see themselves. Not a lot to do with the real Israelis and their culture that is very very different from US

Yeah, imagine generalizing an entire country just because they shoot hundreds of rockets a month at you and use women and children as shields. Oh, and also they kill people for being gay.

It doesn’t help that Mackie’s first movie in the role is a stealth Hulk flick designed to set up the Thunderbolts.

But Sabra is also the name of a refugee camp in Lebanon where a Christian militia massacred hundreds of Palestinians while Israeli troops stood by 40 years ago,” according to The New York Times.

Evans was good casting, and the origin story allowed his character to have an earnestness to the role.

Yeah, but a lot of that was because Chris Evans was just so good at that part. I like Mackie as well, but we’ll see if it will have that same feel.

To me, Sabra is my favorite store-bought hummus, but I still can’t find a store-bought brand that comes anywhere close to the hummus I get from various Mediterranean places around town.

I think the Captain America films were the most “consistent” of the MCU, so I hope this can shake off the somewhat uneven phase 4 and be a bit of a hit.

No, they didn’t:

I genuinely never heard of this show until yesterday, but after having seen it, I hope everyone who writes for it feels terrible about how it’s being received. I hope they feel like failures and it ruins their week. So, so, so bad.
