I’m sure she completely believes what she’s saying. Reproductive-age republican women truly exist.

Gifted programs no longer teach idioms it seems ...

Yep. Exact same as if someone says “I’m not racist, but....” they really should never finish that sentence. But they always do.

Right. Stigmata. Just like I immediately thought “Ebola.”

No, smoke is blown up an ass when your lied to and it comes out of the ears when your mad. Its a whole anal-aural smoke cycle, like the water cycle only entirely figurative.

Yeah the people who drop the “I’ve got a high IQ” card are usually covering for some stupid thing they said, and often double down making it worse. High IQ people don’t need to point it out; it shows in their actions and statements:

He isn’t, but outside of Fox News he can use the argument of being targeted by liberal media lynch mobs and ambush journalism with the backing of the base. The only reason he’s having any difficulty with that line now is because he was on ‘friendly ground’.

He’s used to situations where he has total control, where he either isn’t being asked questions (a speech) or where the interviewer asks him a question, he says whatever he wants, and the interviewer moves on to the next question even if the first question didn’t get a proper answer. Ah, like when someone makes a big nice about being a “nice guy,” a “good Christian,” or a “great parent?”

You know that thing where you start off believing someone 100% but they keep defensively repeating themselves until you start to doubt them?

This really represents how the right sees us.

I find that people who have to say they’re smart usually are about half as smart as they think. Also, calling back to gifted programs seems, odd. Like saying “I was a high school quarterback.”

In my experience, when someone has to tell you how smart they are, they usually are not that smart.

“I’m very much into the whole thing of helping people and helping women,” he said.

The whole idea that him attacking her is “equality” is ridiculous. If he wants to go after her with equal ferocity or whatever, mention any thing other than a biological function. Although, as I write this, I’m thinking about him telling Rand Paul “I don’t think you heard me,” which is still bodily related...

I think what gets me is that they keep trying to insist that it was totally unreasonable for anyone to infer that he was referring to Kelly’s period.

I have a friend like this right now. It took me nearly two years to realize what a self-absorbed person she was. She was always kind of dramatic and needy, but I chalked it up to “big feelings” and decided it wasn’t my place to dismiss them (I’ve been called a little cold before, so I try not to be dismissive of other

I think she’s the human embodiment of a selfie stick.
