And how is it any fucking different than people streaming raids that they have no hope of achieving in any other MMO.  Why is it bad when Destiny does it?

If anything , this is one of the reasons why Destiny is amazing and a unique experience from literally any other game you can choose to play in that genre whether you like shooter, mmo, mmoshooter, shooter looter, mmo looter.... etc

Yea this puzzle has everyone contributing.

Destiny shares many of the same issues that MMO’s always do. No matter how much time and effort and money go into creating content, the playerbase will chew though it in hours, maybe a few days at most, because people want to be ‘the first’ at things. The rest will just wait for the first people to pave the way.

Not so much as a troll as a disgruntled former player who can’t understand why others like what he now hates. It’s a hot take though, though and through.

Community engagement is a thing. True, just small portion of players are actually working to solve this super secret quests, because they are made for the hard core Destiny players, there’s a hundred other activities casual players (like me) can do while this gets sorted out.

Destiny is bad because once a year or less it has a hard puzzle? An, this time, anyone can contribute because there are so many pieces it needs more than a few streamers doing it. A guy created a site that you can enter your patterns so that as a regular player you can contribute.

One of the reasons I’ve enjoyed this puzzler is because you can play along. I’ve contributed a few of my symbols. It’s not a lot, but it’s been fun to participate in a way that I previously wouldn’t have (Niobe, Outbreak).  

I dunno. I play Destiny daily and no, while I can’t figure this out on my own, I can submit what I see to people who are working on the solution. I can watch streams and read threads and talk to my friends about it. I see your point about talking < playing, but I’m having fun following along. I’m still going to reap…

The people in Destiny who enjoy PvP, casual PvE, Raids and these mindbender puzzles are pretty much four distinct groups in the community. I don’t see why that’s a bad thing.

I wouldn’t say people have no way of helping out with it. There is a website where people list their findings in the Time Valut and streamers like SayNoToRage have been having people pop up in the Time Valut to show their symbols and he just takes a screenshot.

Rev hang is mostly just an issue for the WRX- not the STI. You are right that the CVT is trash for performance duty, but as long as a manual option is available I couldn’t care less about it.

The GTI and even the new Hyundai veloster N lack this terrible issue. My Challenger SRt certainly does not have it. honestly I had never experienced it prior to driving a WRX. and I am one of the weird people that prefer Sticks to automatics, but CVT’s are a deal killer altogether.

however it makes for terrible driving experience and lost customers. I don’t know that I have experienced it in any other car I have driven, at least not to the extent that is makes the driving experience so bad.

Focus Styling will not save them if they do not address the CVT in the room, or perhaps fix the Rev Hang in the manual models and produce a next gen motor that can push 500HP in special edition form. Veloster N will even show them up I am afraid.
