Well that's a damn shame. I'm open minded enough to understand the reasons behind why people like it, but I decidedly did NOT like the weapon system in BotW.

He SHOULD, but why would he? Gamers seem very happy to keep giving this guy money. And to people like that, money equals validation. “We” keep making this guy more rich, and he’ll keep feeling like he’s doing the right thing and that his voice needs to be heard.

Gamers don’t give a FUCK about literally anything bad anyone or any entity does if it gets in the way of them enjoying even an incomplete 3 day beta test. Apart from the few of us with morals and a conscience, gamers are easily the largest group shitty people on the planet, greedily sucking down games that were built

Title of this article should've been "Incomplete thoughts from some random people I know".

Save your breath. Overwatch players don't play for objectives. If there's anything that over 1000 hours of OW has told me, it's that even diamond players would rather play deathmatch inside an objective based game, over playing the objective in the objective games OR deathmatch in the deathmatch games.

Its real outrage. Folks are just too stupid to realize it’s a stupid thing to outrage about. I personally will be boycotting Diablo 4. That doesn’t mean I have to slam it’s every detail that makes it wrong for me. Stupid people outrage about stupid things, it’s the current American way.

Since Activision bought blizzard, their entire approach to balance in all their games is to have a flavor of the month that is too strong, and then wait several months and make changes that react too much and just make some other class too strong for several months.

The reason 2 is miles ahead of 3 had nothing to do with vibes, and my everything to do with blizzards homogenization of the items. The itemization was SO lazy in 3. There was hardly any choice beyond "pick my 6 piece set then try to make dps and toughness numbers higher".  LAZY AF. Diablo 2 had meaningful choices, and

Knowing the itemization in 3 compared to 2 is the reason I have no hope for 4. Itemization in 3 is GARBAGE. The only choice in if something is better or not was “does it make the dps or toughness numbers go higher”.

Square Enix spends it's days wishing it was even a shadow of SquareSoft.

Innovation costs people jobs!? What a shocker.  If we never let innovation take away people's jobs we'd all still be picking cotton and digging out coal mines with shovels.

By calling straight "normal", you're calling others "abnormal". Straight isn't normal, it's just straight.

Don’t put much stock in the word “manager”. Here in America “manager” simply means someone who makes BARELY more than their employees and has to eat shit from both employees and corporate overlords. And their only real job is to hold the hands of their employees and count the money.

This  story sounded fishy to me the moment you said the manager was 13, when in PA it's not legal to work till 14 EVEN WITH parental permission.

Man, so many people just care way too much about the most meaningless shit these days.  Anything to dwell in ignorance I guess .

I was thinking the exact same thing. It’s not like I don’t get the story, but I most certainly don’t understand why it was a big deal OR why it was reported on. A stranger was wearing sandals that were uncommon? Ok.

Its for the fanboys who buy every terrible port Square makes because gamers are addicts. But seriously, we all know the original emulated cartridges will blow these out the water.

Everyone knows that these are going to be the same, but worse, than what we already have in emulation. Square is literally THE WORST at porting their own games.

This is why my friends and I stick with 3.5 (though we very occasionally do PF or D20 Modern). Source material is already there, and as long as we have dice and imagination, it has cost us nothing for almost 20 years.

Open world Diablo feels like a bad spinoff game, I don't care how polished the gameplay is. And if they keep on the trend of D3 the actual depth will be about as deep as a footbath. But sure, it looks pretty and controls good.... Is that all modern gamers care about?
