My thoughts exactly. It seems like we’ve been speculating on how long Capaldi, will stay on, since he was first announced. He’s grown on me and I would like him to stay on for a while.

I keep this pic on my hard drive for just these discussions. It has come in handy way too often!

The same is true with showrunners. Fans complained bitterly about Russell T. Davies and dreamed about Steven Moffat taking on the position. Now, Davies has been exalted in retrospect and Moffat is the one who can’t do anything right.

Most people love Capaldi, but hate the episodes he’s in (myself included). The people that don’t understand how much that’s the fault of Moffat may blame Capaldi, but most fans don’t.

Although I’ve admittedly gotten out of watching Dr Who, it’s not because of Capaldi. It’s because I’m tired of how Moffat is running the show (in to the ground).
