I wasn't going to get one. But then the MH4U LE was announced. And now it turns out that MH4U features better load times, better textures, better draw distance, and a faster frame rate than on the regular 3DS. So I don't feel like this is quite on the same level of bullshit that the DSi was.

The textures are sharper, the colors are better, the draw distance has been increased a bit, the framerate is more stable in intensive fights (magala in particular can slow down a bit on the 3DS), the load times are about 5x faster.
