@chloros: I see the point you are trying to make. I just believe that in the examples you have used, they are considered biologically male. In the end, I also fully agree with you that they have the power and right to either keep or change their sex and define their gender as they wish.

@SheelaNaGig: maybe they wouldn't mind? i like the smell of my own body after several days of unwashing, and would totally do it more often than during times of seclusion if it was socially acceptable.

@chloros: looking at some literature, it seems like platelet rich plasma was developed as a way to promote wound healing, which has applications for people who have suffered accidents or undergone surgeries. so at least admirable roots, but i'm not surprised that it was further extended into the plastic surgery

i really want to know the thought process behind sending your fav celebrity a used Tampax

Gudrun Schyman? The same woman who advocated a tax on all men?

unfortunately the first one was when i was 10 and just learning how to use this thing called AOL. it had been photoshopped to look 2 feet long so i was quite confused about men for years after that. it also made 10 year old me go into another room and start crying (i still don't know why)

@mannequin: you know what chills me even more? some of the male responses to that statement.

I really wish they had surveyed the Scandinavian countries. Since they're farther ahead in gender equality, I would have liked to see how their data compares internationally, as well as to see whether they believe they still have a ways to go to achieve it.

@special_boots: speaking of crazy passing of genes, have you seen the story about the twins of mixed race parents?

For the longest time, whenever I found myself crying in front of someone, I was just overcome with great shame and would just find myself repeating over and over "I'm so sorry, I am just being a girl, please ignore me"

@Dysphoria: haha they weren't that bad until the final tear that undid the left one. up til then, it was just the back 1/3 or so that would just flop up and down like a sandal would

my dad took this picture before he threw them away. i was SO MAD. so many memories and scrawled inanities from friends on those

@vamusical: what about the avatar porno parody? in 3D!

@bobella12: i think over the counter antibiotics can be problematic as the overuse of them can result in the proliferation of antibiotic resistant strains. especially since i can see people buying them for every time they get a cold

every time i go visit the relatives in shanghai, it amazes me how almost every single young woman has permed and/or lightened the hair and goes to such pains to have light skin. i get comments on the street from strangers about how i could be good looking if i hadn't let myself get so dark and did something to my

@strasse: do people who use NHS have much option in the matter? even within private systems in the US, i feel limited due to the low supply, high demand of doctors, allowing many to have poor bed side manners

Now playing

@BAngieB: apparently dating those star wars and star trek fans because that is all part of the MASTER PLAN

@Tea and Oranges: alas looks like they'll have to get the two-month-after pill

@Tea and Oranges: oh wow i am dense that makes so much more sense than what i was thinking (which was he was somehow referring to the gulf oil spill)

@kaiwhakamarie: i almost never listen to and appreciate lyrics except when it comes to NMH. they're so haunting you can't help but hear!
